Golden State Dermatology now offers Clear + Brilliant laser skin treatments to help prevent the signs of aging and promote a healthy, youthful glow.

How does it work?

The highly precise Clear + Brilliant laser is one of the most intelligent lasers in skin care. Using the guided Intelligent Optical Tracking (IOTS™), the innovative Clear + Brilliant handpick maps the topography of your skin and locates your trouble areas. Once pinpointed, energy is sent to the deep layers of the skin most likely to be effected by aging. This stimulates your skins natural healing processes and induces collagen production, which is what maintains you skin’s smooth and youthful radiance.

This procedure only last about 30 minutes, start to finish. We begin by applying a topical anesthetic to minimize any discomfort. We actively guide the laser across your skin, focusing on areas prone to early aging and your unique problem spots. Once finished, you may return immediately to you normal schedule and skin care routine, but be sure to discuss your products with your provider to be sure. As your skin repairs itself in the days following the treatment, a small amount of peeling is to be expected.

For best results, most patients opt to have multiple treatments, but everyone’s skin is different. During your consultation, we will examine your skin and come up with a schedule that best fits your needs.

Who can use Clear + Brilliant?

The ideal candidate for this procedure is one that already has heathy skin care habits or is working towards that as a goal. Clear + Brilliant is not a major corrective procedure, so an ideal candidate should want to simply maintain the look of their skin as it is. If other invasive or painful methods just seem like “too much” for where your skin is at, and you are just trying to stay ahead of the signs of aging, Clear + Brilliant is perfect for you.

Clear + Brilliant is safe and effective for all skin tones, but there are some people who should not use this treatment. If you are prone to keloid formation or extreme scarring, or if you have had BOTOX or fillers within the last two weeks, this treatment is not right for you. Again, everyone is different, so your dermatologist will let you know if they this Clear + Brilliant is right for you.
